4 square pinboard test

Here is my 4 square today representing a portrait of me. Since I missed class on Monday, I thought I would play around with different duotones, brightness & contrast, grey scaling, filter gallery, and leveling. I like how it turned out!

Pinboard Progress- Weds

Today, I placed most of my items and started arranging a little bit according to my categories. The resolution looks great, and I only have to retake a couple photos due to the lighting.

Mind Map Inspirations

My idea is to have the background be a pin board and to create a really cool collage-type design. The space would still be divided in 4 sections- Social Network, Cultural Background, Passions, & Aspirations.

Zoo Progress

This is my final billboard. I converted everything to CMYK and played around with adjustment filters. I added the zoo logo with drop shadows and stroke and added warming filters to the jaguar.

3 DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS

This is the progress I've made thus far. I cropped the picture so its just the head of the ruin and I added filters, changed the highlights and brightness, as well as added multi-colored paw prints.

This is my composition with a different background of the tropical rainforest. I like it, but to make it unique to the Tulsa zoo, I want to have the ruin in there for sure.

This is the composition I started out with. I thought that having a tropical background plus the ruin image would work, but its too busy for a billboard. I added bright colored paw prints and removed the outline of the ruin picture.

Zoo Billboard

This is the progress I have made so far. I plan on doing a lot more, but I was curious to see if the class preferred a busy background or a solid color.

Sketches

This one is my favorite one and the one I want to pursue. I want to definitely incorporate the ancient ruins that are actually at the Tulsa zoo, and then have a sneaky jaguar and somehow blend in paw prints in a unique way. There would be a lush, tropical rainforest background with bright greens colors and I would make the atmosphere look humid, misty, and mysterious.
